Pricing:
All of our Stressless® recliners are sold at the lowest price allowed by the manufacturer. We are so confident that our prices are the lowest we guarantee it!!
Tax:
A sales tax will be added to your purchase only if we are delivering within the state of Connecticut, where our store is located. We are not responsible for charging sales tax to those living outside of Connecticut. Therefore, if you live outside our northern, New England State, you will not be charged sales tax.
Shipping:
Shipping is FREE for all orders over $75.00 from the Stressless® Furniture Store at Saybrook Country Barn to destinations within the contiguous 48 states. If you are ordering outside of the United States or from Alaska or Hawaii, please call our store 1-860-388-0891 for the cost of shipping. All free shipping is considered curbside and the delivery driver is not responsible for unpacking or bringing the product into your house. We do offer a "white glove" delivery service which includes bringing the merchandise into your home and removing all packing materials. Please call the store 1-860-388-0891 for the cost of our white glove service.
Delivery Times:
Almost all styles are available from Ekornes'® New Jersey warehouse in at least one or more leather style and color and are therefore available for delivery in as little as 2-3 weeks. However, Stressless® chairs, ottomans, sofas, loveseats, and accessories are made in Norway, so orders not available in stock, will typically take 14-16 weeks to arrive from Norway. We have dedicated over 2200 square feet to the Stressless® line, and have many items in stock in our show room, in some cases we may be able to deliver in as little as a few days, do not hesitate to call our store if your needs are immediate.
Returns:
You may cancel your order within 72 hours and receive a full refund. After 72 hours all orders may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. If for whatever reason you wish to cancel your order you must inform us as soon as possible. If we have already placed your order with Ekornes® then there will be a 25% restocking fee. If you wish to cancel your order after we have shipped your Stressless® product to you, you the customer, are responsible for all shipping costs.
Damages:
When your products arrive by a trucking company, you must inspect the contents at the time of delivery. You must note on the bill of lading that you'll sign, that the product arrived damaged. Failure to follow these steps could negate your freight claim. Of course we will help with these claims to the best of our ability. Our shipping cartons are specially designed for the rigors of cross country shipping. That means the chance of damage is minimal. If you do have a problem, we will diligently work until the problem is solved.
